The hype from the press is not just hyperbole on the 2018 vintage in the Napa Valley. After the classic, but reticent, 2017's, the 2018 vintage wines are powerful, dark and bursting out of the glass. With most of us still unable to gather safely to taste wines in person, this is a perfect opportunity to assess a tremendous vintage from the Napa Valley. We will be featuring our 2018 Gap's Crown Chardonnay, Sonoma Coast, 2018 Estate Merlot, Howell Mountain, and our very limited 2018 Diamond Mountain Cabernet from Andrew Geoffrey Vineyard. As always, the price is designed to encourage you to open these wines, and space is limited.

2018 Chardonnay, Gap’s Crown Vineyard, Sonoma Coast - the structure and power of this cool climate vineyard is on full display. Smooth stream stones run through this homage to great white Burgundy with orange rind, and citrus notes exploding through the taught guardrails. Our best Chardonnay release to date.
2018 Howell Mountain Merlot - less than 200 cases were produced of this singular wine. Our Merlot shows its Howell Mountain heritage in the tannin and color, but also displays a deep, perfumed, voluptuous nature in the mouth that is captivating while young and will become exotic with cellar time.
2018 Diamond Mountain Cabernet - without doubt this release from Andrew Geoffrey Vineyard, farmed by our own Pete Richmond, is the most powerful and complete Diamond Mountain Cabernet we have yet released. One of the top Cabernet bottlings in the Napa Valley each year and it is thrilling in its youth.
